beside the pumping station at Wilfholme Landing leaving the A164 at Watton

An evening walk beside a short stretch of the River Hull to the hide at
Watton Borrow Pits. A chance to view this particular part of Tophill Low
from the other side. A number of wildfowl and waders should be at the pits
with farmland birds in the surrounding fields. No facilities

An evening walk through the wooded gorge at Primrose Valley and across
the golf course, to return along the access road. A variety of woodland and

Meet at the reserve entrance in
the north-eastern corner of the wood, beside the minor road from North
Cliffe to Holme-upon-Spalding-Moor (SE863375)
An evening walk through this Yorkshire Wildlife Trust reserve. The wood
is predominantly of mature birch with one area of heathland. A variety of
woodland birds should be seen, especially warblers. No facilities

Flamborough North Landing
Meet in the North Landing Car
Park (Grid Ref TA238720)
An evening visit to this YWT reserve to view one of the most impressive
seabird spectaculars. The cliffs should be packed with breeding seabirds,
including good numbers of puffin which are often easier to see here than at
Bempton. Toilets at North Landing Car Park.

Middleton on the Wolds Wood
Meet at the cemetery beside the
minor road between Middleton and Lund (Grid Ref SE946494)
An evening walk through the woods to the south of Middleton. A mix of
farmland and woodland species should be seen as we follow the road and paths
in a circular walk south of the village. No facilities

Meet on the old road bridge
beside the Crown & Anchor at Hull Bridge, Tickton (Grid Ref TA055416)
An evening walk beside the River Hull to the open water of High Eske and
the reedbeds at Pulfin. A variety of farmland birds and wildfowl should be
seen. Toilets at pub.

Fraisthorpe
Meet in the car park at Auburn
Farm on the cliff top at Fraisthorpe. (TA170627)
An evening walk along the beach looking for waders, wildfowl and
seabirds. On a good evening a wide selection of gulls and terns can be seen
on the beach or just offshore, these sometimes also attracting the
occasional skua. On a poor night the beach can be almost deserted. Toilets
