International Beached Bird Survey
High Tide Saturday 14.28 Sunday 15.21

Bridlington Harbour Watch
Meet at the Harbour Top, South Pier, near the Harbour Cafe. The harbour is a good habitat for waders and we aim to show these birds to people around the harbour area. Expected species include dunlin, turnstone, oystercatcher and purple sandpiper.
Members are welcome to take part during the day. Please let David Woodmansey know if you can be there .

Friday 20th to Sunday 22nd April
RSPB Members’ Weekend at York University
The annual members’ weekend will be held at the York campus and you can stay for the weekend or just go for the day. (More details in Birds magazine Winter 2006 or phone the RSPB at Sandy on 01767 680551 to book)

Sunday 26th August 11.00 to 16.00
Seawatch Sunday at the Fog Station, Flamborough Head
Park near the café, then walk past the lighthouse down to the Fog Station where we shall be setting up telescopes to look for skuas, shearwaters and other seabirds. This is one of the best sites on the east coast for sea watching. We also like to assist non-birdwatchers to recognise birds. It’s a good idea to bring a folding chair to sit on. Do come along and enjoy the day.
